funster
Hi all, Can anyone help with a bit of advise on installing a 9651 panel and 9940 RKP. Just need to know where to connect the tamper, if I need to as the manual says link out both panic and tamper if an external panic is not being fitted? Thanks in advance Gary

Alarm Co
Hi all,Can anyone help with a bit of advise on installing a 9651 panel and 9940 RKP. Just need to know where to connect the tamper, if I need to as the manual says link out both panic and tamper if an external panic is not being fitted? Thanks in advance Gary the tamper is above zone 1 and is only used for global tamper, doesnt need linking out if you use eol the pa is progd to zone 8 so if you dont use this zone you will have to go into zone program setting and change to nu/not used there is no seprate pa input on the board as other panels as with the keypad just conect 0v 12v clk data clour for colour at rkp and panel you will find 4 terminals at bottom of pcb, this is keypad terminals 9940 has in built prox reader i asume you know this you should be supplyd with one in box hope this helps
