barrieeld Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Im looking to instal a CCTV system for a cafe and have around 4-5k to spend. Im looking for good coverage externally with 7 camers being required to protect the building and outbuildings with 4 cameras need internally (1 above the till and the others covering the floor space). What should i be going for, whats the best cameras to use? I want a rack system which will be installed upstairs in an office (prob 18U) with a 16 channel dvr unit required. Can anyone point me to what i should be going for and where to shop for it to get the best price. Many thanks Barrie

Alarm Protection Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 11 camera system(7 outdoors) 16 way DVR Lockable cabinet Do you want to view externally? Cabling and connectors I would advise that you get a local CCTV installer to do the quote/job for you. You might not even need all these cameras as from experience when the customer is saying "i need a camera here and there" but then heres cameras also look at theres camera so no point fitting 2! With the amount of cameras you want then i would go for a qoute first. !
