Shanet Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Hi all, I've just moved house, it it there is a keypad (labelled 9930). Before the previous owner moved out the keypad was set to 'Installer Mode' so that we could input our own code. Easier said than done it would appear. Can anybody offer any advice or do I need to call out an installer? Many thanks, Shane
topalarms Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Advice would be to call an installer, you could easily mess up the programming without realising it.
shinfieldmonkey Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 obviosly its not good that it was left in installer mode as options can be changed by mistake. My advise would be to get a engineer out to tailor the system to your needs. They will also be able to check the system health, and issue a certificate if needed for you insurance company. Shanet Posted April 23, 2008 Author Posted April 23, 2008 That's great folks. Have since taken your advice and got it sorted. Cost more than I hoped as there was a fault in the external sounder which needed to be replaced. Thanks again!!
