Hi guys(and girls if any out there)

Firstly.....great thing you guys have going here, keep it up, there`s loads of useful info on this forum.

Now! My name is Claud and i`m an ex South African Police dog handler (11 years)

I`ve been living in the UK for a year and a half and am desperate to get into the security installation game.However....I am 32 years of age and was wondering if any of you experienced guys out there could tell me what my chances are of getting a foot in the door?

I`m willing to pay for my own training, if that makes any difference.

I`ve had a bit of experience helping a mate of mine back home who was a tech but just things like pulling cables, putting up passives, connecting panic buttons and security lights, wiring glass break detectors and door contacts etc.

I`m also willing to relocate to anywhere in the UK if given the oppertunity,i currently live in Letchworth Herts.

So,if anyone has any advice or knows of anybody willing to give me that so important break,i would forever be iternally grateful.....Please answer....anybody.

Thanks guys and sorry for such a long winded message

Claud (Rotarhead because i`m a helicopter nut)

PS i`ve attached my CV if anyone`s interested

No chip buddy, just thought i could get some good advice.

If your Yorkie has a big heart, he`ll be a fine police dog!!!

PS sorry if i offended anyone,i`m just a bit fed up with dead ends and red tape
