Adpro Alarms

Confused? We also use Galaxy with Rio's and Relays but there are still only 20 or 30 alarm inputs in the Adpro?? Rather than go direct to the head we have in the past 'linked' certain detectors which although not ideal works. So even using Galaxy how would you 'fire' 40-50 detectors?

If you want to send individual sensors to the adpro you cant, but usually you can group sensors to cameras, so the galaxy would control the presets (ie into the matrix or head).

It Looks like there's a Fast Trace 2 on its way!!!!!! Yipee

Will it take a year and a bit for all the installers to iron out the bugs/ missing features again, like it did on the 1st FT??? ho ho..... (no zone isolation/no sending to presets/ hard drives falling over) only kiddin.

With ref to the current Fast trace if you have more than 30 alarm inputs then other methods as mentioned above will have to be used. My point was that if you are using the dome or an alarm panel to do the work of the FT then you will have to interigate that third party equipment if an icident occurs, plus you are adding more thing onto the system that can fail.

The FT is an excellent piece of kit with good analysis of alarm inputs and all other events that occur day and night. With the ability to archive this data from the FT for evidential purposes. What I am trying to say is that if you are using another peice of equipment then this is analysis is much harder to produce to client and as equipment back up if ever the cs fails to respond.
