nintenbo Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 thanks to all for help with my last problem, im looking a a few different PTZ domes and one has 64 preset positions and the other has only 2 and one gaurd position. and there is a big differance in price also one has a super HAD sony camera and ive no experiance with sony HAD. questions; I thought preseta were part of the DVR software and not the dome? Is super HAD that much better with image quality?

aplex Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Presets are always stored in the dome or dome base as with the pelco spectra domes. The DVR can only trigger the presets as the DVR does not receive any feedback from the dome as to its current position. Hope this helps.
