Alarm Protection Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 Put battery on first and then power for the 700 panel then all should be ok.....if not then you have a fault but im sure battery first then power. !

bristolmarkt Posted May 19, 2008 Author Posted May 19, 2008 How long was the new battery in place before you turned off the power?Some new batteries are not fully charged and will need to be 'on charge' in the panel for a day or so before they are able to power the system fully. Simon The battery had been in for only a few minutes - perhaps this could be it I'll look to replace the fuse as well - there is a single fuse cased in a box outside of the control box - i am assuming this is the one?
