Service Engineer Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Why do so many companies on the net show the camera and a price but offer little or nothing in the way of it's Specifications.? The lack of a proper spec alone put's me off. ........................................................ Dave Partridge (Romec Service Engineer)

davetherave69 Posted May 16, 2008 Author Posted May 16, 2008 Hi thanks for help so far my mate is now prob going to buy these cams www.dynamic-cctv.com/PDF%20files/DTV-VLD.pdf but he wants to buy 4 and ask me to get him a dvr as never installed cctv set up before not shore on what to buy im an electrician by trade and installed loads of alarm systems so have some skils thanks in avance for help. Also a question if you have everdance recorded of some one breaking into your house or car and you show the police will they be intrested in it or are we wasting are time and money installing the system he has alrm and security lights at the moment.
topalarms Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 The Dynamic cameras are pretty good, they have sens-up which lets them see well at night but it does create problems with movement at night, looks like someone moving through vaseline! So they have good image and colour in day and good potential at night but cannot deal with night movement well. Police interest? Depends on what is recorded ie quality of image and nature of the crime.
