OrderlyConduct Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Hi, I'm considering buying a Texecom Premier system for a domestic DIY install (after Nova-security's recommendation in an earlier post). I see some of the higher end keypads come with optional proximity tags to arm/disarm. On first thought this seems a daft idea since if someone gets a hold of my keys he can unlock the doors and deactivate my system. But is it possible to combine this with a code so you need to swipe the proximity tag AND enter a PIN? The reason I ask is because I'm looking to buy the Texecom Premier kit available online at alertelectrical.com for
breff Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Not 100% sure but I think if you select the option of 'dual code' on the programmed fob and the programmed code, it will require the fob and code. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
