dommer
my standard advice for cats especially, is to close the door and keep them out, or attach a blob of blue tac to each paw and stick them on the ceiling.pet resistant pirs are good but reduce the security compared to standard pirs, but something is better than nothing. i have quad pet pirs in my home wit a 10 stone dotty rotty with no false alarm problems. one 'old school' way before pet pirs were available, was to blank off all the lower 'fingers' and those covering the window leaving a 'V' shaped detection area using the supplied masking film, intruders being taller than cats will 'hit' both area's if they walk around. but blue tac really works great too (but don't forget to leave a 'waste' bin underneath them though or wifey may get a bit testy regs alan Which Pet PIR's do you use Alan ? arfur mo
Which Pet PIR's do you use Alan ? Gardtec's, can't remmember the exact model but about 5 years old now and counting. i've had the dog for 2 years, it was one of my son's but he move home and no dogs allowed, noticed blue tac has limitations on weight, but then i'd need a big big bucket if it worked regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!! arfur mo
Should do that anyway, wherever its sited. agreed, but amazing little you see it done? on my advice for protecting a laptop, this client installed one for his (Tv) DVR, weeks later a scroat forced the patio door while he was working in the garage on a grinder. tried to knick the DVR and run. the cable stopped this and client range me up and said how good they were (i did not fitthem) thanks me for the good advice which i'm no different puffed out my feathers. then go's om and told me the scroats violent efforts knocked over the 60" plasma smashing it to bits, on it's way down ripped the surround sound base speaker off the wall above which swung on its cable smashing the sea marine fish tank killing about If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
