When was the system last serviced???

There can be many reasons why this system can go into tamper so i would suggest you get a local company to look at the system and get it serviced.

Hi Ange, the tamper circuit runs through everything, keypad, detectors, bellbox, panel lid, cables, door contacts and so on, sometimes in the warm weather certain bellbox lids will expand and set off a tamper... Texecom are prone to this, that might be one theroy, otherwise it could be on one of the above. Basically the route is to narrow the fault down to one of the above but to do this it's either taking off all the covers yourself and hearing the click when the spring closes on all the above and try resetting each time, if it's a cable then it's another story.

Nobody like to say you'll have to get an engineer if we can't help but in this this case it's panel lid off and a multimeter to find and fix the fault. I'm based in Whitchurch North Shropshire, I do cover certain areas of Manchester, a callout would be
