arfur mo Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Alan / BreffNo you got me confused Direct wire or via a relay? ... and I don't understand your last posts! just clocked your a supplier, why not collar a client at the trade counter, and bribe with coffee, keyrings - ptz to show you how? you voice dialer needs a 'short' to trigger it, so use the dvr's C & NO relay connections which on alarm detection will supply the short needed. see it as a simple door bell circuit - if it is (as most likely) a relay with 'clean' volt free springs that is. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
sjonley Posted June 13, 2008 Author Posted June 13, 2008 why not collar a client at the trade counter, and bribe with coffee, keyrings - ptz to show you how Small problem there alan, even though i work for a distributor, my companies trade counter is in London while I work from home in northwest. I don't think my voice will reach that far lmao. Normally I would ask as you say, but I don't have that facility and anyway I like the jovial banter on here. Gopher Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Doesn't get any easier than this, just follow Breffs diagram and you can't go wrong. Thanks GavHogg, I thought it was me. And me it's 4 wires, a 12v PSU and a standard setup for a relay trigger.
