Are you sure this is a panel fault? Iused to fit a lot of TS900 and TS2500 in the late 90s and I have come across a problem similar to the one you describe on several occasions.

As I recall the TS900 has a fairly sophisticated charging/monitoring circuit which refuses to charge a flat battery.

If the battery has gone into deep discharge it will look like it is short circuited and the panel will refuse to charge it.

It might be worth trying a fresh battery which you know is charged.

I'm not trying to teach you to suck eggs and I apologise if you have already explored this possibility but it might save you some money if it is only a discharged battery.

The TS900 was a pretty good panel in my opinion and apart from lightning strikes I never had a faulty one.

They do occasionally pop up on a well know auction site if you do need to buy one.

Many thanks for the reply I'll try tonight, certainly worth a shout.

Will let you know.

Little update

But a fully charge new battery on Tuesday night, warning led on PCB went straight off, however battery fault on all LCD panels still remains.

Dont think the board is producing enogh ummf to charge battery but not had chance to get a meter on it yet, going to try tonight.

I think if i not the mains off and drain the battery, then the battery will not recharge, the meter will tell tonght. systems tests via panel states 13.6v output to battery but I'n conviced.

So still on the look out for a new or PCB
