redwards Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Anyone out there with good memory on the Vista 4110 panels??? Probably time to replace the system but it seems to be a simple problem.. I have an error message on the keypads - OC and no AC. also no power light. this error does not appear in the only booklet i have available we have has mains power in and 14volts across the outputs from the board.. any ideas gratefully received.. regards

However make sure the heypad is addressed as 31. To do this down power keypad and power up with the 1 & 3 keys held in together and the keypad address appears on the top LHS, if it is not addressed as 31 then type in 31 and then * to save. OK - looks like it was something with the battery circuit (battery is OK). linked out the circuit and re-booted on mains only and now its working. Wierd !!!! thanks for your help regards
redwards Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 What you planning to do next redwards?C. got the keypad operational and after about 3 attempts to clear an 09 alarm it settled down and is now running (without battery) then i went to the pub !!!! regards

redwards Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 eh OK.What i mean is to rectify the "no battery" situation. not sure what to do with it, have reconnected the battery today and the system is now working OK. not sure what happened with it, obvioulsy very limited diagnostics available. maybe i will look to upgrade the panel..
