sasa Posted July 3, 2008 Author Posted July 3, 2008 Check the parameters option 51:63 Banner Alerts, If im correct I think that if this option is disabled then their is no indication at the keypad apart from audio only, when enabled select parameter option 69 alert indications and select how you would like the indication to be show at the keypad. If no event is being shown in the event log then check parameters option 48 : 2 Unset Alarm limits as no event is logged after the alarm limit has been reached. Regards Max 51:63 Banner Alerts is enabled, and 51:69 is 2 (Visual Only). Normal events are all logged. We descovered another way to reset this mysterious beeping: First the Full menu option 19 (All set) is activated, then after the alarm occures the system is unset by master code. It is better way than doing the system reset. We have not succeed to silent the mysterious beeping by setting/unsetting just one of 5 groups we have programmed. Thank you very much for help.
sasa Posted July 3, 2008 Author Posted July 3, 2008 They keypad outputs will default to all groups etc as e/e horn. This will need to be chnaged anyway. Is this site on udl, i can take a look if needed.James We program the control panel locally by PC. Don't have udl software for remote programming. Now we can't do anything untill our panel programmer comes back from the vacation in two weeks. Trimmer pots on all keypads are set to minimum and beeping is not heard. Best regards.

The Max Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Are they keyprox keypads rather than just keypads, the reason i ask is if you have some other type of door access system that uses proximity tags you may find that you could have a reader to close too one of the keyprox keypads and every so often the magnetic field of these readers interferes with the keyprox. You are right about autoset timers. Also the keypad 42 must have e/e horn only on A7 group... We will change that as soon as our programmer is back from vacation in two weeks. In the attachment is the event log. Beeping occures several times during the logged period. The first time it occures a week before attached period but we don't have this log. Once again thank you for help very much indeed. Sasa Event_Log.pdf
james.wilson Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 sasa we will also need approx times and dates when this beeping occurs, you have lots of alarms in your log. I would also restrict your keypad buzzers to the relvant areas this will help you narrow down the cause. Also note the times and dates it happens and check you time/date is accurate on the system securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

Also note the times and dates it happens and check you time/date is accurate on the system Sorry, I don't know any particular moment when the beeping started during the log. In two weeks we will surely set the keypad buzzers (e/e horn) just where we need them. Unused areas (B678, C12345678, D12345678) will be removed from e/e horn option of all used keypads also. If the beeping occures after that, we'll try to note down the exact moment it started. After that we'll download the log file from the control panel and send this informations to you. Greetings.
Johnny Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Hi mate, do you have a phone line connected to the panel ?
