Chorlton Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 hi allso where do we get the forms for waste batteries and also wat do we need to carry them on our vans? big dom Don't know abot Englandshire (maybe enviroment agency??) but up here in Jock land it's SEPA. to carry waste it's a (you guessed it) waste carriers licence. you issue watse transfer notes upon uplifting/removing ANY waste and thats what the scrappies give you too. Guest G.J.M Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 what do they do with them & why are they worth anything?I'm paying to get rid at the moment, thought it was the only way with the WEEE regs etc they want the lead inside them.
justin Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 This should not be an issue. We always leave the old batteries with the customer, let them get rid, i'ts their property and it shows were not rippin them of aswell as the battery can't end up in someone else's alarm.

justin Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 assuming it`s a domestic customer? Any customer. As long as it is handed to a responsible person and noted and signed for.
Guest anguscanplay Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Any customer. As long as it is handed to a responsible person and noted and signed for. when I find it I`ll scan in the guidlines we got from risco but no - your obligation to a non domestic end user is for you to dispose of WEE, now having said that the line " do you wanna get rid of that or shall we charge you ..........." tends to win the day LOL
