Guest anguscanplay Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 no cause we generally change the controls if its quite old or faulty well of course ............. it`s still nice to know everyone elses code though, makes em worry
DamienGiles Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Interesting topic. Suggest a sticky for "Engineer Codes". I agree with IP but personally I think that it should be in the contract that on exit a FOC call should be made to change code and/or default panel. If this is the case it should be made clear that the purchase price does include IP which will be removed on exit. Glad to see a non-flaming engineering code post!
hpotter Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 I wouldt charge to default or change the eng code. (If asked to) I would welcome the opportunity to ask the customer face to face why they want to take their business elsewhere. None of us are perfect ( keepheaddownbelowwall/gif) and only by asking do we find where we go wrong.
Guest anguscanplay Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Helps that we have a 3 month termination period - no one ever remembers
Alarm Protection Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 We always lock them, will default if asked. We lock them but will unlock as per contract. !
