antinode Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 there is a 9 pin serial connector on the back. For which I believe you can get an adaptor that plugs into the serial port to give you screw terminals. Trade Member

satsuma01 Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 old sprite will do pelco and some others on 485there is a 9 pin serial connector on the back. right hand side of the unit should be a green connector type plu labbeled rs485 on the unit, terminal type i think. connect to there, you need to set the dvr on seriel telemetry, reboot the dvr then programme the cam number to the corretc tlemetry as well. in the cameras own telem menu. regards colin "If you carry your childhood with you, you never become old. You can use them without a keyboard over the software but id agree a keyboard is pretty essential on any of em securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

SystemQ Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 old sprite will do pelco and some others on 485there is a 9 pin serial connector on the back. The customer told me there was no separate RS485 output on the early sprite and it was on latter ones that they had a separate connector. I will ask him if it has a 9 pin serial connector. all. Paul.
