mcelec Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 this is something which is common and very easily fixed at no great expense by a reputable company, you say you cant get hold of anyone to advise you regarding this fault but you should have a company in place to carry out service on the system, if you dont then the yellow pages is full of them or ask on here for a recommendation, but tinkering with the system yourself could land you in pretty hot water if the system was to fail as a result of any work you carry out! it just all boils down to common sense you wouldnt change the brakes in your car if you wasnt 100% sure of what you was doing as it could result in the death of yourself and others and in my opinion a fire alarm is no different, its purpose is to save property & lives! dont tinker! get proffessional expertise to resolve any issues!
