amateurandy Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 That's it really, does anyone know who/where they are? Anyone from them involved here? They phoned me recently and I was far from convinced that they were either genuine or professional, or even who they said they were. No number showing on caller ID.

Look at the third link down http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&c...tryUK|countryGB Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.
amateurandy Posted August 24, 2008 Author Posted August 24, 2008 Seem kosher Thanks, maybe but... They don't seem to have heard of either the Data Protection Act or Telephone Preference Service, both things that any professional security company would be totally familiar with.
james.wilson Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 i beleive they heavily use telesales so i doubt it was actually the company phoning you. Use risco wisdoms i think. Dont know much about them though. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

If I was you Andy I'd phone them up Tuesday and ask some questions They are either at it, paying someone to be at it or blissfully unaware and may be dellighted to hear about it. Let us know either way! C.

NSI Silver too. tut tut google brought up similar examples of there tactics from far back as 2006
Guest anguscanplay Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 NSI Silver too. tut tutgoogle brought up similar examples of there tactics from far back as 2006 and SSAIB acording to there website - so the moral of the story is ? stick with gold
amateurandy Posted August 25, 2008 Author Posted August 25, 2008 stick with gold preferably 19 ? PS From the "response" I got when I questioned them I think it was a direct Telesales call not an agency/call centre, I even got a name (real or not) from a manager or supervisor. But if no-one has contacts there I'll probably not follow it up, unless they call again in which case it's both barrels!
rob6709 Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 I know an engineer who works for them. Based in Sutton Colfield. Pay well aparently.
