Guest Jim
Hello There, Just a quick help question. I have been given the task to go look at a Gardtec 539 panel. From reading the Gardtec literature this has an onboard digi modem and is capable of upload/download via the software available from Gardtec. This would obviously make my life easier for some re-programming testing e.t.c My question is besides the software do I need a special lead e.t.c or is it a simple RS232 plug in from my laptop, also is the local communication via the digi modem card or is there a comms port on the main board. Thanks for any info Jim Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/2463-gardtec-593-communication/ Share on other sites
Guest Guest
I think I just answered my own question - just found a Gardtec 593 modem patchboard converter lead listed in their price catalogue. Out of interest anyone ever used this device ? Thanks Jim Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/2463-gardtec-593-communication/#findComment-14795 Share on other sites
morph
You can only access the 593 remotely for upload/ download programming, you cant do it locally. The gardtec range are very good and reliable intruder systems.
