lowlofe Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Can a Pelco Coaxitron Fixed Speed Receiver be controlled by a dedicated micros digital sprite 2? Regs Alex
breff Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I know the DS2 can output Pelco coax control, but thats as far as my knowledge goes. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
james.wilson Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 as breff says it can do cox telem, so id assume so, but never used one so cant confirm sorry securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

C.S TEK. Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 you would be better using 485 data line on the DM, down the coax dosen't always work best on the DM unit unless the domes are pretty near to DVR Chris Trade Member As Mr Kingswood said "Dont forget the 6 P's when installing.....Proper Preperation Prevents P*** Poor Performance!!!" sam10693 Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Can a Pelco Coaxitron Fixed Speed Receiver be controlled by a dedicated micros digital sprite 2?Regs Alex No Coaxitron is pelco's own form of cox controll and what you have is a coaxitron reciever only pelco kit can controll it so long as it has coaxitron in it. The Genex multiplexer dose it if that helps. The DS2 outputs Pelco P and D which is compleatly different to Coaxitron. Hope this helps best regards Sam.
