Veritas R8plus Power Cut Issues

Hi I have a veritas r8 plus 2 years old installed by a reputable firm in my flat.

During a power cut the alarm sounded internally and externally.

The tenant called the installer who told them how to disconnect the battery in the outside unit and the inside panel and pull the mains fuse.

It has been left like that for over 6 months totally deactivated.

I found this out at the point of tenant moving out :realmad:

So I've reconnected the internal battery and external battery, powered up and the system comes up and beeps continually then after a few minutes the alarm sounds, the panel ignores the user reset code.

Any ideas on the correct process to follow to bring it online ?

cheers

Have you tried the (read rule 12.4),if its bleeping 10 times it's a mains problem or battery volts low,9 times and its bell or panel or global tamper.1-8 times is a zone fault-I would say it's prob 10 times due to it being offline for 6 months.
