Itec Microtec Control Panel

hi i hope someone can help me i have client with a microtec 6000 control panel, its been working fine for 20 years (yes 20 years) changed the bell box today and had a fault N Nd on the keypad with out a installer guide im a bit stuffed hope fully someone can help

well i worked on those 20+ years ago but off top of my head i can,t remember what N Nd means but i would imagine its either the tamper return from your new bell - (find the tamper return wire in the c/u and check it on a meter,) or its a short form of no node. Check your fuses as well - maybe you blew a fuse.

I definately have'nt got a manual on those tho - i chucked all mine away 10+ yeas ago as i never thought i would see one again!!

Did you refit the risistor on the tamper return.

It should go in the bell box but most of the ones i have seen have had the risistor fitted within the panel.

I used to work for a company that had a load of these, so I hunted out an old manual. nd means there is no data being received from the panel at the keypad. If the cabling is good from the panel to the keypad and it's wired correctly looks like it may have finally given up, 20 year is a good innings for a control panel though :whistle:
