arfur mo Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 works the same as a Gardtec panel then? very simular, the program tree is not much diiferent, i've suspected the tunstal software geek was/is working for Gardtec now, only difference is on Gardtec the dispaly time out is a lot shorter on chime, just wish that was adjustable for when using for door monitoring where you have a 24 hour consierge and porters in place. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
nikko Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Mitzy, Find out which zone is causing the chime by checking the display, but I suspect it will be a door contact probably on the front door. It will either be surface mounted and obvious, or concealed in the frame. not so obvious but look hard. It may be a square or round shape sitting in the door frame. If it's been fitted quite low down it may have got a bit of damp in it. Anyhow, something you can try for free is, give the part fitted to the frame a few light taps with the back of a tea spoon or similar. If it's just a bit "sticky" this may well sort it for you without going to unecessary expense. I went up into the attic...I found a Stradavarius & a Picasso. Unfortunately..... Stradavarius couldn't paint, and Picasso made a shocking fiddle. My Facebook page...http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/profile.php?id=1279556853&ref=name
