CS may well be different but they must have hundreds of 8440's on their books - bet 99.9% intruder. (so reckon reciever ok). If they dont chip many fire alarms with 8440, it just might be an oversight.

Well finally sorted it out,despite all denial of any responsibility and several chips later, they sent out some new chips today which suspiciously dialled another receiver number,and the chips got a 3 prefix, surprise surprise worked first time,thanks for all your help everyone. johnson
