Chorlton Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 946RS i was gonna say battery change and see what happens but thought you had resigned yourself to not being comfident enough with the checks and thought it safer to leave it at that. Let us know how you get on once the battery is replaced with a new one. C.
964RS Posted October 23, 2008 Author Posted October 23, 2008 Hi again. Disconnected the battery and all works fine now!! Its obviously kaput. Thanks for all your help, home safeish once agai. Now just need to find a BAT2412 12v 2.4Ah battery.....
Chorlton Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 hello again, thanks for reporting back!! if it's the same physical shape this will do the job - http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog...roducts_id=1339 C.
magpye Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 I suggest you get a 7Ah battery, the 2.4Ah you have is the minimum size for your control panel, the 7Ah is the maximum. In the case of alarm systems size DOES matter, well worth the extra expense. magpye Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.
Chorlton Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 OK, fair do's, I stand corrected: try this one - http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog...roducts_id=1340 C.
