C&k Securit 800l System

I have a C&K Securit 800L system. I am renting and don't know what areas are isolated, etc. -- it appears to be all but Zone 1 (front entry). I have used the engineer's code found in the installation guide (found online) to reset to default settings, but that has made no difference. When my code is entered for full set, I get a pulsing tone which then becomes a continouous tone (so far, so good) but the continuous tone never stops as the instruction manual says it will when it is fully armed. I also cannot get the Home and Night settings to arm. The only time all zones light up is in the sounder test mode -- which works but of course cannot be used while I'm in the house. Can someone respond with help? Thanks.

Hi Evenleygirl

unfortunately having taken that step we have absolutely no idea how to advise you to set it back up properly according to your circumstances.

idealy you should have contacted the landlord, the alarm is likely to form part of the rental agreement as a fixture and so sorting it could have been free, now you have tampered with it he/she may decide to level any cost of corection with you.

i hope not, but imo only way forward is to engage a qualified alarm engineer or come clean with the landlord and treow yourself on his mercy :cold2:
