mrgrumpy Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Hi! I bought a Logic 4 panel for my parents about 6 years ago but they have now managed to lose all the keys! I have tried the original supplier for a replacement barrel but they no longer stock 'em and I've had no joy at the likes of maplin and Rs Components. Does anyone know where I could get my hands on a new barrel? I've tried persuading them to upgrade to something a bit more "with it" (like my texecom veritas excel!) but they are having none of it! Thanks

Thanks Shame you didn't post last week, just binned 2 logic 4's both with full set of keys... There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.

If you take the barrel out of the lock then take it to a proper locksmith (not a key bar) he will be able to cut you a new key, it will probably cost a bit as it's a fairly labour intensive job. Alternatively if your logic 4 is a later polycarb one as opposed to the early metal ones you can fit an optima PCB in the same case, the cover also fits and it will probably be cheaper than getting a key cut!
