james.wilson Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 as above both the bell and strobe output of the 800L is a switched neg securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Rulland Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Me thinks Texecom diallers can be progged for either neg or pos trigger-surely Tex tech would have known that! .

The wiring on the pcb is as per the installation manual ST- strobe switched negative S- sounder switched negative + sounder hold off/strobe positive supply - sounder hold off supply & sounder tamper feed (negative) -R sounder tamper return (negative) I have two wires one + and one - what two conections do i make to the control panel 800l for negative switching
james.wilson Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 no you need to provide perm 12v to the dialler AND a switched neg to trigger it. If you have a look in the manual there are a few examples securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

I can't tell you where to connect them in the dialler as I haven't fitted a Texecom dialler for a while but it will say in the manual.
