whistle
You dont need a honeywell printer to work on a galaxy. An old printer with a sierial port will do. You will need the RS232 to RS 485 converter. The last one i set up took me ages to get working, but once working it was fine.
kensplace
Or you can just capture the output from the printer interface and print it on a newer printer if need be.
james.wilson
We have developed (well i have lol) a little app for this purpose. Use a null modem lead and connect from the printer port on the panel to your pc's serial port (has to be com1) then run the app and print from the panel. Designed for galaxys but will emulate a serial printer on any panel. http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/comm...showtopic=23764 securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
