Monty Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Was at a site to day that reported having problem with alarm (looked after by estate agent) on 1st visit, found in log that system was having comms fail and after looking around found the owner had had Broudband installed . so returned and fitted Zed blocker filter to panel cheaked voltage ok 50v but still no comms fiddled around with line and broudband unit and found the only way to get a line out was to plug the phone into the port on the broudband unit its self and it would work rang Mob no and the site has an 01333 number but came up with an 0560 number yet if I put the phone back into the broudband filter at the normal phone point and phone the 01333 number it rings through !! incoming on normal 01333 out going on 0560 !! has any one come across this problem . www.AllanMoncrieffAlarms.com
