davegreen Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Is there anything on the market that can be added to an existing optima panel that will disarm a particular zone, at a certain time when the system is set? At the moment it is run by a central heating timer fitted by a different installer. The customer is naffed off with it because its such a pain to re=program the unit when the clocks change. Any ideas?
james.wilson Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 a TS2000-BST is a 7 day timer with auto BST adjustment. Or a panel that co do this itself. Timer will be cheaper but non compliant (no logs for starters) and not as good. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
leesutton Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 You would be better off with a panel that has it all on board as mentioned, less messing about for you, then there's a full event log as well. Totally agree. Its for a mate who has deep pockets and short arms! He has a haulage firm and wants to switch a zone off at 4.30am when drivers arrive. It already works but he pesters me when the clocks change to go and re=programm it after he has "had a go". Thanks.
