Guest cctvman Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 Been a few years since a done covert stuff. One company i worked for done a lot of covert stuff( now part of //.National Installer.//) for a lot of high street stores In most case's i found the company would not persu court only show the video to the accused then sack them In my option the best covert kit was your standard camera with a fish eye lens (now hard to get a hold of) As the covert smoke detector option well we had one job which involved a store manager so he know some of the kit as we had been in before so what we did was fit 4 x smokes as you would on a normal fire job, great two days later caught. In the days of the tube camera i remember the shoe box was a fav ! With a little thought cameras can be hidden were ever poss i have even hid them in a cctv monitor (speaker panel on a panasonic) then cut out the video thru for video out customer is non the wiser Happy Hunting Al
