Anyone recommend any good training courses in CCTV. Now I know its a very wide field but what I am after is basically.

What camera's to use where (ie due to bad light \ glare etc)

The best places to install camera's to get optimul image

The law (What you can & cant view)

Hopefully you get the jist of what I am after (Gulp) flame proof suit on :)

I am in nottingham area but can travel

Thanks in advance

We always use Tavcom - see www.tavcom.com

Not cheap, about £600 for 3 days, but very comprehensive.

You probably need their CCTV foundation course.

Our new-starters always come back enlightened.

As for the legal aspects, a good start would be to visit the Information Commissioner's website and get it from the horse's mouth:

Absolutely...Tavcom training is 1st class...and the food is good too!

I went up into the attic...I found a Stradavarius & a Picasso. Unfortunately.....

Stradavarius couldn't paint, and Picasso made a shocking fiddle.
