cjd Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Hi there folks, has been ages since I posted on here. After some help again. (This is the 2nd post as I think I posted the 1st in the wrong area!) I've got a galaxy 60 panel which I have eng access for etc and installed myself in my scout campsite. I had to fix a problem the other night with it (dodgy connection to a RIO. I disconnected the panel from the mains and also battery backup as I had to make the cabling longer. When I re-connected everything the panel did it's usual self check thing and came up with G500 hardware and then showed the main banner and date/time. When I went to exit engineer mode it checked for tampers etc and then came up with error RAM(2) Not a clue what this means except that I assume it's to do with the RAM chip. Does this mean my board has died and is now of no use. If so, does any kind person happend to have a spare Galaxy 60 board that is gathering dust on a shelf they are willing to part with for a fair price? Regards Craig.
Chorlton Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 last nights topic was in the right place so I'll put a link to it here - http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/comm...c=26026&hl= and close this 2nd duplicate topic to avoid confusion C.
