Which Of These Cameras Is More Suitable?

Hi

im looking for a camera to cover a 15m driveway, that has a 150w floodlight.

can anyone advise if it is better to get one with IR or one without that switches toB&W and has sens up with auto iris control?

1/3" Sony CCD

0.1lux @ f1.2

Switchable on/off Auto Gain Control

Switchable on/off Auto white balance

Electronic Shutter (up to 1/100,000sec linear)

relaise there not the best specs but its only ahome system and cant afford more at the moment so any advice on which would be best suited is gratefully received

Neither to be honest

you have a security light so forget IR onboard unless you fancy cleaning spiders webs off it every few days

520 / 540 TVL and go for varifocal so at least you can set the lens to where you want to see, Cut filter

not as expensive as you think and better picture Quality

oh ok, do you have any links to a camera of the spec you mention that wont beak the bank?

also id strongly advise against comparing specs alone.

I have seen many a med res high quality brand give a far higher quality than a so called 540tvl 'SONY' chipped cheap camera. I have an intel processor in my main pc but the rest of its cheap sh!te..... i is it an intel PC?.... if you see what i mean

If you have problems with Spiders, there's some cracking kit from QED that repels them.
