lol, just some of us have a clue, some don't.

the premier is prob the best wired intruder panel at the moment, do we use it, no. Risco look after us so i have no need to, but i wouldn't rip one out on a takeover.

As for my views, i can back them up, i've tried the rest and risco is the best [poet and didn't know it] as far as wireless. Are they the best wired panel? no, the premier is IMO, but then i would have to use texecom wireless on any hybrid job and for the few extra features the prem has on the wired side, it is not worth putting up with the wireless c##p they produce.

As for the agility, it is still on test, if it does what they say it will be the best feature wise on the market. Unlike some we don't just listen to reps, we test it our self in the office, not on the customer.

Ps: how many batteries does the scanny bell use? do you know?

The bell is powered by two packs of two dry cell or lithium batts, The large round fat ones.... Just for the record tho, It is an Elmdean bell not a Scanny,

Texecom is too much like a Scanny panel to me, I think that the Galaxy has more to it than the Texecom, In our office we only have G2, Prem, Scanny 95en,I-ON and a Euro one on test. We only have a small office....lol I will say that i buy and use what i want not what the Rep says, However for a refreshing change you should meet this guy, A rep that says it how it is. In these times i think that support and training are a big factor, The reps can throw as many freebies at me as they like but if my guys cant fit them or should i say make a programing error then thats when it costs me.

Is Sam the new Arfur Mo lol!

??????

most offer good training and support now, if they don't we don't go near either.

i like the prems for the selectable resistance levels ect, great for takeovers.

We looked at switching a while back but the galaxy support is poor from honeywell, and all round service, from support to product we find risco the best, we don't get anything free either.

Prems are good i agree, However the 65,85,95en also have selectable resistance levels for take overs, Fitting these all day every day now and touch wood no probs. Texy Prem or Scanny EN are a good bet either way.

Except for Guardall's.

Would agree, 85/95EN excellent panels and reckon 85 will replace 9853 sooner than later.
