Oddly,

The owner of a staffie & Lab / Rott cross wanted an alarm to protect the dogs while theyre at work,  as they where worried of them being stolen as bait dogs...

Reminds me of that YT vid of 'MY 8 £1000 GUN DOGS WERE STOLEN AT LUNCHTIME BUT WEVE GOT THEM ON CCTV DOING IT PLEASE SHARE'; yeah, but because you came home a full 6 hours later

they've binned their masks, torched the car, and split the dogs up, had you had an alarm to alert you *at the time* you might have got somewhere.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

It is worrying how cctv seems to be the ideal for all, but when something happens it rarely is. Hopefully people will ask a security professional their opinion just before the hot place freezes over. Then we will all be tarred with the same brush as nest and ring.

Isn't it brilliant marketing

Yeh and alarms fitted by so called pros are infallible? I know they aren’t.

They can rarely (note the caveat) be circumvented by a poisoned sausage...

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Alarm with good internal sounder does th job with some kind of monitoring

CCTV is a luxury

These days it's ring doorbell that has become people's main security
