Hi All,

Need some advice this has been bothering me for months but hav'nt been able to figure it out... :(

I've got a M800 and two mkp3 keypads.

I have programmed the wards with group which works fine.

However when i arm a group, it arms fine but does not display on the LCD which group has been Armed. So if you look at the panel you do not know if it is on or off. It's annoying because sometimes it could be part set, or you dont know which group has been set until you enter your code.

In the older versions when you set the alarm it use to say ie " Full Set", or "Perimiter only"... displaying the group name you set. but in this one it only shows the date when its set or unset..

Does anyone know how i can correct this... ?

Many Thanks in advance

It's the new standards that only allows users to see the system status when using a fob or code.

You can always program an output to put an LED on to indicate ward status.

I don't know without looking at the book if there is the option to set the display up as with the older version of firmware, that's the thing to look at next?

Thanks mate.... that explains it a new standard!!. i was baffled for ages, wondering why it worked in the old one and not the new one.

I could'nt find the option in the book to change the status to show this, not sure if anyone else have found the option?... so i guess i'll have to resort to older firmware or output to an LED.

i had same exact problem yesterday.

i have 3 wards one being the garage which is always set and as you say you cant see that on the keypad.

my solution was to set the keypad output in the house to ward 3 set (garage is in ward 3) so that the red light on the keypad comes on when the garage is set.

one problem ive found is that i cant get an instant or silent set on ward 2 (bedtime setting)

This is why I bought an old stock 2500 for my house, much better then the newer stuff IMHO.

I have several sheds and a barn included which can all display status in the house and timer instant set at night.

Easy!

:P

The original\problem is easily sorted by using the on board LED in the right hand corner to display if any wards are set.

Simply assign the LED to\a custom output

configure the custom output to handle part/ward set

eg ward 1 or ward 2 or ward 3 etc

It IS POSSIBLE
