Guest tanknet Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 Thanks for the replies. Will be installing camera's on customers request and then sounds like we will be moving them shortly after if it all kicks off. More works but like you all say a very delicate area.
norman Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 This would give you a view of who is moving towards and away from the urinals but not what they are doing. But i like to wee from about 3 feet away!! Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Smart Electrics Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 My advice is to use a secure key card access with times and date loged. Of cause this is going to be expensive but hey its better then going down as a pedI. The law for using CCTV in toilets and changing rooms is a bit strange. If it were a night club then you will find that both the urinals and cubicles will be monitored but for a school its classed as pervertive!! I spose 11-15 year olds dont do or partate in drug taking Like every one on hear I would steer well away from any CCTV in this sensitive area.
Guest tanknet Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Just out of interest who would be liable if it all kicked off. We are only completing a job on the customers request. We dont like where we are putting it and as a father to a young boy I would certainly be worried if there was cctv in his schools toliets. Tank
morph Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Customer, but you also have to think of the adverse publicity that this will cause to your business. Some times you have just got to say NO.
Guest tanknet Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Camera's now repositioned after selected news articles lifted from the net and shown to customer. Thanks for all your info chaps
