jonnyg2k5 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Have an up and running Gardtec CPX which I have installed myself. Can anyone advise two things: 1. How do yo uenable the door chime on a particular zone? i/e I want the alarm to chime each time the front door is opened/closed..... 2. How do you set up the 1,2 and 3 zone settings? i.e zone 1 in garage and shed so i can set the system by pressing user code then 1 etc etc..... Hope I've explained this OK!! guys!!

jonnyg2k5 Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 OK mate no worries, i will figure it out. What is the certification you need to be an installer? Just as a matter of interest??
Alarm Protection Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Jonny, For chime and part set you need to programme this through "attributes" in engineering. Gardtec are not easy panels to get round. As for being an installer there are courses you can take but a lot of people start as apprentices and keep in the trade for many years. Tavcom do excellent courses. !
