mikeald Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 hi all, I have a few american fibertek racks on my site, all with rr-20 cards in them. (dual channel receiver cards). I have recently had a problem whereby a few of the cameras have started pulsing and flashing. I have proved the fault to be faulty outputs on some of the cards. I have got my scope out, and proved that on most of the cards the video output is giving me a good 1 volt signal, and of course a good picture. However, if I plug the same fibre into one of my other cards, then the picture flashes and the video output signal jumps up to approx 2 volts!!!! Sounds like the agc is naff. Has anybody else had this experience? Sounds like they need to get repaired to me though? I also have a few rr20 m cards with the manual gain, which are fantastic, because I can simply tweak the pot until I have good picture. Mike Intruder & Fire Member
