Hello all

I really need some help..

Ive fitted my first i-on16 system today, All seems fine.. Getting maximum signal strength even with the PIR at total opposite end of the house in conservatory. Im impressed

Anyway.. Everything seems fine exept the external bellbox, The bell box i have used is a Texecom Odyssey.

I have power at the box, strobe is connecting fine, Blinking as it should in day mode. I JUST CANT GET AN EXTERNAL SIREN.. No sound from the box. Ive done the test on the i-on16 panel activating the external bell On/Off... But nothing?????

I would really appreciate someones help on this. I have photos to show you of the connections so far..

Maybe someone can show me what ive missed??

I really appreciate someone help.

Thank you

Ok using your colours

Green (lloks like strobe trigger) to output 2

black (assuming HO-) to 0v

Yellow (looks like tamper return) to TR

Blue (looks like bell trigger) to output 1

Red (looks like HO+) to Aux12v

program output 1 as a bell and output 2 as a strobe.

No resistor, pls nooooooooooooo they dont like some panels with their own built in resistance. Let alone another one fitted.

5 cores will do the trick.

I have connected today exactly as you have mentioned (shown in photo).. But i'm only getting strobe... No siren??

Probally i have not programed the outputs right, but im sure i had gone through this and done it right.

Does the panel not come with outputs pre programmed ( sorry not used this one yet). Does the manual not say what they are pre-set at?
