ann16 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Hi, I have just moved into a new house which has an intellisense securit 802 alarm system. The system works but the siren and strobe don't. Does anyone have the installation manual showing a wiring diagram or can anyone post the terminal connections in the control panel so I can work out the wiring connections to the siren box? Any help on this would be appreciated. Many thanks.
Guest old-hand Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 ST- Strobe switched negative trigger. S - Sounder switched negative trigger + Sounder hold off/strobe positive supply. - Sounder hold off supply & sounder tamper feed (negative) -R Sounder tamper return. (negative) Thats should do it.

Are they marked the same? In order that I can confirm whether my cable is broken or not what could I expect across the various terminals voltage wise armed/disarmed etc. As much information as you can provide please so that I can test as much as possible. Many thanks again.
Alarm Protection Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Hi Ann, I you hve multimetre you could buzz out the cable from one end to another. There might be a fuse blown in the panel for the bellbox? The Bell is goosed? Apart from that then there is not much else apart from calling an engineer in to sort the problem. !

(negative) With the system unset and the bell tamper switch closed you should get the following voltages. + Hold off to - Hold off should be around 13 volts. + Hold off to -R around 13 volts With the alarm activating (ie, set then triggered) you should get 13 volts between + Hold off and both S- and ST-.
