Driller Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 OK so I installed my SVD4600s and tonight I fired up the DVR (SVR960). Three points of note: 1)Installing CCTV is not for the uninitiated or fainthearted. How you guys do all that installing/adjusting at the top of a ladder day in day out I don't know. I've been doing this since sunday and I'm exhausted (and extremely pissed off). Maybe I was lucky with my Galaxy install but it seemed a lot easier than this. 2) My cameras are installed on the four corners of my house looking along the walls. I wanted to be able to see along the walls of the house and the ground infront. The cameras are tilted as far as they would go towards the walls and zoomed out but I'm not able to see the facade of the house. See 1) above. Am I going to need brackets? 3)When I fired up the DVR I got three good pictures but the fourth one is utterly blurred. You can make out vague movement and light but that is all. I have the sneaky suspicion that this is a terminal problem. I would love for you to tell me otherwise.

Driller Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 is the cam focused? Er I'm pretty sure these are autofocus cameras if that deosn't sound too dumb... What I did notice was that on the image there were several zeros and dots in the top right corner like this: 0000.....00 The other three camers just had their ID and a nice image.
