1. Check it's not the batteries needing replacement in your smoke detectors .... really!

If it's not that then,

2. Put your code into the panel and see what happens - any error message?

All there is on the system is 4 wireless motion detectors and the exit door, system test shows all zones working fine.

putting in master code shows no error message.

wondering if i need to go in as engineer but no idea how to do so.

Have you got any battery smoke detectors in the house?

Does not sound like the alarm as it would bring a fault up on the keypad.

Have you changed any settings? Any zone changed to chime would sound if a detector is tripped.

There are smoke detectors in the house but wouldn't have thought they be conected tot the alarm, or would they?

not chagned anything, it started this morning when the only other person who who have know how to was out of the house.

i think the point they are trying to make is everyone blames the alarm and it usually turns out to be something else. Try pulling the batts out the smoke detectors completly for a few minutes and see if it stops.

Alternativly if it is the alarm (be 100% sure here) then you or someone has probably turned on chime.

Wanted to say thankyou for the help, turned out to be a smoke detector about 3 meters from the panel, sound traveled which made me think it was the panel and not the smoke detector.
