pinter75 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Howdy, Well I have my Scantronic 9000 back up and running sweetly with the help of the engineer manual and a good clean/recondition/replace of sensors etc. As this thing seems rock solid (they don't make them like this anymore), I would like to expand it's capabilities. I already have interfaced an autodialler to it but need some more features. Ideally I would like to add some more zones to it. I does have the 5-8 expander card, but I would like to fit a 9174 8 circuit board. Also I am looking out for a realy card (not sure on the model number). I need this because I am designing an add on microprocessor with LCD display and ethernet connection for web/sms notifications ) So if any of you installers have some old scanny gear in the corner of your store rooms, than you could help me out. I may be ok on the relay board, as there is one on eBay. eBay does seem good for old bits as I have a spare PCB and remote keypad already from there. .
Monty Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Good luck was a great panel in its day but think i would swap it out for a new M800/2000 now many more features and parts avalable if you get a problem , but hay good luck. www.AllanMoncrieffAlarms.com
