Orbiter G18CPVC1-00 DayNight mode

Hello there,

I fitted my Orbiter G18CPVC1-00 with a Sony FCB-EX480AP DayNight zoomblock with IR-Cutfilter.

But, it doesn't change into nightmode at lowlight.

Can it be set automatic from keyboard / menu, or forced into mono ?

Thanks !

It is automatic but it can be forced by pressing the AUX button.

There is a setting in the camera for IR Lamps.

This can be set on or off.

It can help to get the camera to switch to mono earlier.

Hi there Mr. Mullins,

Thanks for you reply, appreciate it very much, I'm over in The Netherlands and Honeywell TechAssistance sucks overhere.

I followed your steps ;

It is automatic but it can be forced by pressing the AUX button. => Does not respond

There is a setting in the camera for IR Lamps. => Right

This can be set on or off. => Set to "Present"

No change.

So, no monochrome at all, when I switch the block to a ConceptPro PTZ-Cartridge IRC works fine, mechanically it works, so, my guess, purely control. Maybe this particular block wasn't ment to be fitted to a VCL in the first place ???

I even switched to Pelco D ; same problem.

Regards, thanks,

Jaap
