Stevee Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I'm redecorating my house and need to temporarily move a PIR. Is it possible to disable the tamper alarm while I move it? for any advice. Steve

kka Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 no need to disable. when you take off the front cover. the alarm will sound, enter your user code and this will stop the noise. do your job before you reset. be care when handling the electronics..... sorry i need to add, if you alarm is set to engineer / tamper reset. then you will need to contact the engineer who fitted it to reset and he/she will charge for their service.....
